A side project

once and i while i see damaged photos online, especially from the Library of Congress or shorpy.com. i see these as a challenge to hone in my photoshop skills and see how well i can bring them back to their original state.

here is one i tackled this afternoon.




i'm not quite sure how i'm going to handle the damaged cars on the street, but i'll post the completed image when i'm done.

Rules

I am going to make some rules for myself so i don't cheat uproariously.

1. the actual posted pic for the day has to be taken ON THAT DAY. no blowing off the blog for 10 days and then taking 10 pictures on the 11th day and retro-posting them. that defeats the purpose in my eyes.

2. the pics don't necessarily have to be posted on the same day they are taken. posting is the hard part and i feel that i might not get to it every day.
